According to the ASDMA daily bulletin, 563 villages across 38 revenue circles were under water. Nearly 17,000 hectares of crop land remained submerged. Seven embankment breaches were reported, along with damage to at least two bridges. The Dhansiri (South) river at Numaligarh continued to flow above the danger level, keeping several districts on high alert.

Urban flooding added to the distress in parts of Kamrup Metropolitan and Morigaon. Rescue teams used boats to evacuate residents from waterlogged areas, while the administration operated over 100 relief camps and distribution centres. Roughly 44,500 people were being sheltered or provided with essential supplies at these centres. Food grains, pulses, salt and mustard oil continued to be distributed in the affected zones.

State authorities have been coordinating multi-agency efforts involving the National Disaster Response Force, State Disaster Response Force, police, local administration and civil society. Medical and veterinary teams have been deployed to address health risks and livestock losses. Earlier in the season the state government had raised the ex-gratia amount for families of those killed to ₹9 lakh (combining the standard amount with an additional contribution from the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund) and announced cash assistance for severely affected households.

The situation remains fluid. While water levels had shown signs of recession in some areas in previous days, fresh rainfall and rising river levels reversed the trend and expanded the affected footprint from five to fourteen districts within a short period.
