PM Modi Launches 'Nasha Mukt Yuva for Viksit Bharat Sankalp Abhiyan'

On 2 August 2026, PM Narendra Modi launched a 100-week nationwide Jan Bhagidari campaign, 'Nasha Mukt Yuva for Viksit Bharat Sankalp Abhiyan' (Drug-Free Youth for Developed India Pledge Campaign).

Over 1 crore youth took the Nasha Mukti Pledge on launch day from more than 28,000 locations across India.
Supported by 125+ spiritual organisations, educational institutions, NGOs, youth clubs and industry associations.
Every Sunday for 100 weeks: sports events, walkathons, meditation, cultural programmes, nukkad nataks, and community service.
Coordinated by the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports through MY Bharat; started as a Kashi (Varanasi) pilot, now expanded nationwide.
