Supreme Court Issues Nationwide Directions to Curb 'Digital Arrest' Scams

The Supreme Court on 4 August 2026 issued a comprehensive set of nationwide directions to tackle the rising problem of 'digital arrest' scams, where fraudsters pose as police, CBI, or court officials on video calls to extort money.
